IF YOU have just finished your favourite perfume and are about to throw the bottle away, you might want to think again.
You might have spent £50 or more on a bottle of perfume, so it seems a bit of a waste to just throw it away.

And Stacey Solomon knows all too well about transforming old items instead of putting them in the bin.
Her latest upcycle are some old Chanel perfume bottles, but instead of throwing them away, she has put her DIY skills to the test once again, transforming them into a stylish shower gel holder and a reed diffuser.
The Loose Women presenter posted her upcycle on her Instagram stories yesterday, as she demonstrated how to give perfume bottles a new use.
She said: “Currently sitting in the shower with my book because I’ve saved my old perfume bottles to make a shower gel holder and read diffuser.”
Stacey explained how to simply transform the perfume bottles and continued: “Sprayer off, remove tube.
“Do not squeeze hard just gently peel the metal off around the glass rim.
“Use gloves if you’ve never done it before.
“Then fill with whatever you want, I used my favourite shower gel and diffuser oil.
“I know it’s probably silly to some but these bottles are too pretty to throw away and I think they look so nice in here and a bit posh.
“Old perfume bottle getting a new purpose.
“Done and I love them.”
So rather than splashing the cash on a fancy shower gel holder or an expensive diffuser, with Stacey’s hacks, you can instantly add glamour to your home, without spending a fortune.
And if you don’t fancy a new shower gel holder or a diffuser, you could instead use this hack for other areas around your home – maybe for a soap dispenser in your loo or a washing-up liquid dispenser in your kitchen.
Would you give this upcycle a go?
Stacey Solomon has been documenting her incredible bathroom transformation at her new home, Pickle Cottage.
She recently gave her toilet brush some TLC and used leftover ‘mermaid’ tiles to jazz up the essential household appliance.
It’s safe to say that the former X Factor star knows a thing or two about home renovations and upcycling.
