And now Tevez has been snapped embracing Pioli at AC Milan’s training ground on Friday.

The former Manchester United and Manchester City striker also shared a laugh with club legend Maldini, who oversees the club’s transfer business.

His warm encounter has led to rumours that he could be considering a return to the pitch with the Serie A leaders.

The 76-cap international has previously been linked with a switch to the MLS, but has now seemingly opened the door to a move to Italy.

And the trip to AC Milan’s Milanello training base isn’t the only visit he has made in recent days.

Tevez attended Inter Milan AND Juventus’ headquarters this week, and was also in the stands for the clash between the two teams on Sunday at the Allianz Stadium.

The striker spent two seasons in Turin with Juve between 2013 and 2015, winning the Serie A title in back-to-back campaigns.

One of those was under now Spurs boss Antonio Conte, and Tevez has clearly not forgotten his successes under the Italian.

Il Corriere dello Sport claim Tevez’s European adventure will continue with a visit to Tottenham’s training ground next week to reunite with Conte.

Although the chances of an on-field reunion between the pair remain unlikely, with Tevez instead set to “study” the current ongoings at the club.
